The Maniago School District is composed of 5 primary schools and 5 nursery schools.

The schools joining the Comenius Project “Traces of today for tomorrow” are:

The “Dante Alighieri “ Primary School. It is set in the centre of  Maniago, there are 32 teachers working with 316 students. The school is the location of the offices and the administrative staff. There are different school timetables in operation: some classes come to school all day (40 hours per week Monday - Friday from 8.10 to 16.10). Other classes come to school for 30 hours per week Monday - Friday, 2 mornings only and 3 full days.

The “Alessandro Manzoni” Primary School is placed in a outer area of the town called Maniagolibero. It has 13 teachers and 104 pupils and it’s a full timetable school (40 hours per week Monday – Friday from 8.10 to 16.10). The “Domenico Savio” Primary School is located in a nearby county to Maniago called Vivaro. There are 10 teachers and 78 students. The pupils come to school for 30 hours per week Monday - Friday, 2 mornings only and 3 full days.
